We went to the Spain and Honduras game. Spain is a fantastic team to watch. Spain won the match 2-0.
Along the way, I had some interesting moments with some of Spain’s finest fans!
Next to Pieter and I sat next to two young South African guys, Nardus and Daniel. Both arrived at their seats with beers in hand. An interesting point is South Africa’s drinking age is 18. If that is puzzling, Nardus and Daniel would tell you, “D.I.A.-Dis Is Africa!”
A funny thing is that FIFA now sanctions dancers at the games. They aren’t quite as in sync as American cheerleaders.
